We Are a Reconciling Church
On Sunday, May 11, 2014, we concluded our formal vote around the issue of becoming a Reconciling Church. The congregation voted overwhelmingly (86%) in favor of the measure, and we are very proud to state publically that Brecksville United Methodist Church is a place of welcome for all of Godís children. The Reconciling Task Force is continuing to explore ways in which we can improve our welcome and hospitality. Thank you for your participation and support in this process!

Our Welcoming Statement
Brecksville United Methodist Church is called to the ministry of reconciliation. We embrace diversity as a gift. We celebrate our human familyís diversity of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, marital status, physical and mental ability, and education. We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and as beloved children of God, all are worthy of Godís love and grace. We welcome the full inclusion of all people in the life and ministries of Brecksville United Methodist Church as we journey toward reconciliation through Christ.
