Sunday School for kids and youth
Sunday School Begins Sunday, September 18!
All are welcome at 10:00 on Sunday mornings.

Preschool and Kindergarten kids will enjoy hearing Bible stories told in a beautiful and engaging way.  With plenty of time to reflect and wonder about all the ways that they fit into God’s story.  Each week’s lesson includes a story, craft and snack.

First through Fifth Graders will learn key Bible stories and the meaning these stories have in their lives through active lessons which might include storytelling, games or a craft.  Active learning helps spark a stronger, more honest faith that our kids will carry with them for a lifetime.

Sixth and Seventh Graders will discover the depth and profound beauty of Bible stories as they figure out how to make their faith a relevant part of their lives.  Asking questions will be encouraged, so they can take an honest and open look at their faith.

Eighth Grade Confirmation Year --  Each Sunday morning our 8th graders will have the opportunity to explore some fascinating faith questions and learn what it is that makes a Methodist a Methodist.  These lessons, along with service projects, mentor meetings, an overnight retreat, worship attendance and a more deliberate prayer life will help the youth to make a more informed decision regarding making their Confirmation in May.

High School Sunday School.  9th-12th graders will engage in a journey through the Bible this year with the help of Echo the Story. This curriculum gives students the opportunity to experience the biblical narrative through storytelling, creative reflection, and dialogue. Each week we will experience and discuss how we fit into God's story through activities you might not expect. Students will be encouraged to think about the Bible in new and interesting ways. We hope to explore with you this fall!

Sprouts (our Children’s Church Program) Children are encouraged to spend the first part of worship with their families.  After the Children’s Moment, they are welcome to join Sprouts for a fresh and exciting look at the same story the grown-ups are hearing in worship.  Through the use of a short video, discussion and craft the kids will see the Bible stories come to life and learn about key characters who are a lot like us!
