Brecksville United Methodist Women:

Faith, Hope and Love, in Action

The United Methodist Women

If you walk through the church the first Thursday morning of the month, you’re sure to hear raucous laughter coming from the Parlor. That’s because a great community of women is meeting there—the Brecksville United Methodist Women—and they have fun! But it’s not just about fellowship. Members of the UMW are active in our church and the world around them in all kinds of ways.

The group’s focus is on fostering spiritual growth, giving to mission, developing leaders, advocating for justice, and living out their faith. Members raise money each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in our neighborhoods and around the world. In the left column of this page is a list of the group’s giving for 2012. It’s clear that they are making a difference in the world!

A speaker is invited in to address the group each month. Check the church calendar for details of this month’s meeting. They start at 9:30 am with continental breakfast and fellowship. Everyone is welcome!

Asbury Bremeth Circle

Ladies of the church, please join Asbury Bremeth Circle on the second Thursday of each month in the parlor at 9:30 am. Our meetings include a light continental breakfast, an opening thought and prayer, approximately thirty minutes of good talk and fellowship, and a lesson that combines our real lives with God's plans for us. Our wonderful Christian Education Director, Jenny Gee, is our facilitator, so look forward to exciting lessons!

Evening Circle

Have you found yourself wishing that you could be involved with the United Methodist Women, but your daytime schedule wouldn’t allow it? Come to evening circle! Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the Parlor. Check the church calendar for up to date information. Come join with other women of our church to learn and grow in our faith!
