On November 5, 2026, we will be voting on our path forward with United Women in Faith (UWF). To continue being UWF and the Northern Waters District, members need to step forward and fill the positions of president, vice president, treasurer, and publicity. Are you willing to fill one of these positions?
If we do not continue as UWF and stay connected to the Northern Waters District, our name would change and the new organization would become a BUMC sub-team within the church. Our most popular activities would continue such as field trips, speakers, bake sales, lunches, and mission giving. Eve circle would continue as usual.
A leader would volunteer to organize one activity. You could build your own team to help. Fund-raising for missions would still be very important to us. Our group would be inclusive, and anyone could participate in these roles and activities.
We are committed to continue as UWF until the end of this program year 2026-27.
Which choice would serve you best?
In addition to our main group, United Women in Faith has two “circles” or small groups – one focused on service and the other focused on study.
Eve Circle
Busy during the day? Come to Eve Circle! We meet on the second Tuesday of most months at 6:30 pm. Connect with other women of faith as we learn and grow together.
Eve Circle
Abury Bremeth Circle
Join Asbury Bremeth Circle on the second Thursday of each month in the parlor. We gather at 9:30 am, and our study and conversation
begins at 10. Our meetings include an opening thought and prayer, approximately thirty minutes of good talk and fellowship, and a lesson that combines our real lives with God’s plans for us. Our wonderful Christian Education Director, Jenny Gee, is our facilitator, so look
forward to exciting lessons!
