“What do I do with all this cardboard?” Recycling cardboard at the paper bins at Brecksville United Methodist Church is one option. Recycling is one way that we show care for God’s creation, and we want to make it easy for our community to keep their cardboard and paper out of the landfill.
We need your help to recycle right!
- Flatten all cardboard. This is so important. Our bins fill up fast. Flat cardboard boxes make room for more cardboard and paper.
- Keep it dry! Wet cardboard is hard to recycle. Please close the lid on the bins when you leave.
- Have a lot of cardboard? Consider taking it directly to Royal Oak Recycling in Cleveland. 16065 Industrial Lane Cleveland, OH 44135
- Bins full? Do not leave anything outside of the bins. Visit another recycling location, or come back later.
The paper recycling industry is changing. Many community bins have gone away. Our church is actively looking for solutions. A new BUMC Green Team could take on this important work. Want to be part of it?
