Bishop Jung’s Day on the Northern Waters District: Thursday, February 27, 2025.  

Bishop Hee-Soo Jung will spend a day in each East Ohio District in the coming months, and he is beginning the tour in our district, the Northern Waters District! Pastor Heidi encourages us to take this opportunity to engage with Bishop Jung and enjoy this unique opportunity to break bread, study God’s word and experience worship with our siblings in Christ from other UMCs in our area. The service will take place February 27 at the United Methodist Church of Macedonia (an easy 8 mile drive west on Route 82 from the church.)

Pastor Heidi and other clergy of the district are invited to join Bishop Jung beginning at 9:30 a.m. for a morning of worship and Bible study, followed by lunch, a session on district strategy and visioning, conversation with the bishop, and a closing worship service at 3:00 p.m. with communion.

Laity* of the district are invited to join Bishop Jung at 5:00 p.m. for dinner followed by a worship service, Bible study, and a conversation on vision and ministry.

Please Register on the EOC Events Registration page before February 20 to ensure an accurate count for meals. If you are interested in carpooling, please contact the church office or talk to Anthy at the Welcome Stand on Sunday morning.
