Stop by the lobby to see the types of projects this special group of sewists has been working on this year, and pick up a handmade craft to gift this Christmas. Your purchase will help the Sew4Good team buy fabric and notions for projects in the new year!

Sew4Good Project Recap
The group has been very productive in 2025. In addition to preparing items for this sale, they have also created many items for others including:
- 133 fabric gift bags – 120 were used to make Valentine’s gifts for patients at the children’s hospital, 13 bags were made Valentine bags for staff.
- 17 fabric gift baskets for the United Women in Faith Eve Circle’s TLC Project. They were filled with goodies and delivered to folks who aren’t able to get out and about and come to church.
- 24 Rice bag grocery totes, recycled from our Rise Against Hunger meal packing event and donated to Cleveland food Bank.
- 50 dog scarves made for BBH pride event.
- 14 Pillowcases with names embroidered for the Re:Source Cleveland students we sent to Summer camp this year.
- 24 bibs and 25 burp cloths donated to pregnant and parenting mothers through Womankind
- 10 + pencil cases for Nehemiah’s back-to-school supply drive.
- 21 fleece hats and 15 fleece scarves for the Christmas hat & mitten giving tree.
We are thankful for all the ways these sewists are sharing their gifts and skills. If you would like to be part of this good work, join them on the third Tuesday of each month on the third floor, or reach out to Catherine Vastartis for projects you can work on at home!
