April Aerie Amble

The April Aerie Amble: A Sojourn for All

Saturday, April 11 | Meet at Brecksville Railway Station

Join the Green Team for a morning of movement and mindful connection with creation. This all-abilities sojourn along the Towpath is a perfect outing for everyone—including those using wheelchairs or who prefer a gentler pace.

The Plan:

  • The Hike: We’ll depart from the Brecksville Railway Station, walking the accessible path toward the eagle nests.
  • Reflections: Along the way, we’ll hear stories and insights from Jenny Gee and Maureen Wise, with a special time of prayer by the river.
  • The “Brown Bag” Social: We’ll conclude at the Plateau Picnic Area Pavilion for a BYO-lunch. Whether you hiked the full trail or are just joining us for the meal, there’s a seat for you at the table!

Details at a Glance:

  • Bring: A brown bag lunch and a reusable water bottle.
  • Accessibility: The main route and pavilion are wheelchair friendly. For those seeking a challenge, a rugged secondary trail is available near the pavilion after lunch.
  • Parking: Ample parking is available at the Plateau Picnic Area.
