Community Big Sing & Climate Justice Concert

Join the Movement: Are you passionate about music, community, and caring for God’s creation? Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 19, 2026, as Brecksville United Methodist Church hosts a special day of music, justice, and community praise featuring Canadian folk singer-songwriter and climate justice artist Luke Wallace!

Whether you want to sit back and enjoy an inspiring performance or lift your own voice as part of the choir, there is a place for you here. This event is open to everyone in the community—no church membership or formal choral experience required.

Meet the Artist: Luke Wallace

Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Luke Wallace is a dynamic performer, songwriter, and choral arranger who has spent over a decade using music as a tool for environmental advocacy.

Described as a “modern-day Pete Seeger,” Luke’s folk music blends rich storytelling, call-and-response, and community anthems that bring people together rather than driving them apart. He has performed across North America—from rallies and folk festivals to the global stage as a featured performer at the United Nations Water Conference in New York.

“Luke is like a modern Pete Seeger. From the moment he hits the stage, he has the audience singing about positive change… He doesn’t back down, but he doesn’t alienate people either. He’s a perfect voice for right now.” — Doug Cox, Music Director & Producer
