Over two out of three people in our jail aren’t serving a sentence – they’re in jail awaiting trial because they can’t afford to post bond.  This can lead to loss of employment, housing, child custody, medical care, and personal safety, and it costs the taxpayers a lot of money.

Join us on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7:00 pm to learn about the issues people face after arrest and to hear candidates for Judge of the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court discuss these issues.

Your presence will help you become familiar with the Judges you will be voting on this November and will show the candidates that we want the courts to treat people justly and fairly.

The forum is organized by Greater Cleveland Congregations and will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland, 21600 Shaker Blvd., Shaker Heights.
