Two Ways to Grow: Your Vision Campaign Commitment

Since 2020, we have prayed for God to open our hearts and minds to “the incredible things we haven’t even imagined yet.” Now, with the launch of our Vision Campaign, we are taking a bold, faithful step toward that answer.

You’ve heard the dream: to saturate our community with connection and belonging on the Square and everywhere. Making that dream real means caring for the building that shelters our ministries—from a reliable roof and efficient heating to an accessible elevator, refreshed entryways, and vibrant spaces to gather. Crucially, it also means investing in the staff and programming that help us welcome, connect, and serve.

As you pray about your response, you’ll notice your commitment card offers two ways to give. Here is how they work together:

• Your General Fund Pledge: Keeps our day-to-day ministries running every single week. It supports our staff, worship, Youth Group, Summer Sprouts, mission partnerships, utilities, and the ongoing building upkeep that sustains our church family.
• Your Vision Campaign Pledge: A separate, three-year commitment given above and beyond your regular giving. These gifts are dedicated specifically to major building improvements and ministry growth that will carry Brecksville UMC into its next chapter.

Why two pledges? Because a vision this big should never come at the expense of the everyday ministries we already love.

You’ve already shown us what’s possible: in 2026, we adopted our first balanced budget since 2019, non-pledged giving is up 30%, and midyear pledged giving exceeded 60%. These are clear signs that God is at work and that our congregation is choosing abundance.

Every commitment matters, whatever its size. Please prayerfully consider your response and complete your commitments. We will celebrate Commitment Sunday on October 25, 2026!
