Celebrating Jeff and Scott Hastings’ 17 years of Service
For 17 years, Jeff and Scott Hastings have served as our Facilities Managers, keeping our church running smoothly behind the scenes with hard work and dedication. With Jeff stepping into retirement and Scott embarking on his next chapter—along with recently tying the knot!—it’s time to give them a joyful send-off and celebrate all they’ve meant to our church family.
Back in 2009, when they first stepped into their roles as our Facilities Managers, Barack Obama had just been sworn in as President, gas was $2.35 a gallon, the first iPhone was barely two years old, Uber didn’t exist yet, and “Avatar” was blowing everyone’s minds in movie theaters.
A lot in the world has changed since then—but through every plumbing emergency, early morning snow shoveling, setup for church events, and repair behind the scenes, Jeff and Scott have been a constant, faithful blessing to our church community.
Now, it’s time to give them The Final Sweep – a retirement send-off they deserve! Join us after church on Sunday, October 25 in the Fellowship Hall for a celebratory meal. We’ll be serving breakfast casseroles, salads, fruit, and a cake in their honor.
