About Pastor Heidi

Our Senior Pastor, Rev. Heidi Welch, began her ministry with Brecksville United Methodist Church in the summer of 2019, just eight months before the world shut down. Since that time, she has led our church through a period of change and growth, reminding us all the while that God is with us every step of the way.

She was in her third year of service at Medina United Methodist Church when she became an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. Pastor Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Youngstown State University and a Master of Divinity from Methodist Theological School in Ohio.

Pastor Heidi and her husband, Chef Rasul Welch, have two children, Jordan and Cornelia. Their boxer, Hans, takes them all on frequent walks.
