Advent Study: What Do You Fear?

This Advent, join us for a four-week reflective journey exploring fear, hope, and courage through scripture, art, poetry, and conversation. In a world where fear often divides us, we’ll gather to ask: How might our fears shape us—and how might God call us forward?

Join us Sundays in Advent, 9:30–10:30 AM in the Chapel

Class Highlights:

  • November 23 – Week 1: Facing Our Fears – Begin with gentle reflection and name the fears that quietly shape our lives.
  • November 30 – Week 2: When We’re Running Out of Hope – Explore the story of John the Baptist and ways to cultivate resilient hope.
  • December 7 – Week 3: Even in Our Fear, We Are Called Forward – See how Mary and Jeremiah show us the courage to say “yes” amidst uncertainty.
  • December 14 – Week 4: When You’re Afraid, Give Me Your Hand – Reflect on Joseph’s solidarity and how fear can lead to connection and community.

Each session will feature guided discussion, poetry, art, and reflective practices—no prior experience required. Come ready to share, listen, and discover how courage and faith emerge in everyday life, even when our hearts are trembling.
