We clean, repair and refurbish donated bikes and get them into the hands of people in need – and we call it Bike Ministry. It’s a special kind of ministry that serves a number of purposes. We keep bikes out of the landfill, help kids experience the joy of a bicycle and adults use them for both fun and transportation, and we create an opportunity to work together in determined service.
We’ve been getting spokes to folks since 2015, and in 2025 we repaired our 1000th bike! Want to help? Keep reading to learn how you can be part of this meaningful and life changing work.

Bike Fix It Days
We gather together one Saturday morning each month to get bikes ready to distribute. We replace pedals and inflate tires, we grease chains and ensure brakes are working. We disassemble some bikes for parts and it’s all done in an air of joyful gathering. Everyone is welcome and there’s something for people of many abilities to help with. We have been praying for someone to come help lead this effort. Could it be you?

To Donate a Bike
The bikes we need most are road bikes and children’s bikes. If you have a specialty bike, we may be able to use it by selling it to someone so we can buy more bike parts.
Ways to Support the Bike Ministry
- Volunteer at a bike fix it day – and invite your friends to join you!
- Donate bike parts. Find our Amazon wishlist here.
- Give a financial gift.
- Keep this ministry in your prayers!
Don’t want to wait for a fix-it-day?
There’s more than one way to fix a bike!
- Adopt a bike for at-home repairs. Take it home, clean it up and do needed repairs and replacement of parts (which you can take from our stage workspace). Bring it back to be delivered in August.
- Take a bike to the shop! Support a local bike store by taking one of our bikes there for a tune up. Old Station Cycle is just down the road – text them to set up an appointment: 440-276-0974
