The Third Annual Brecksville Flea @BUMC will be held Saturday, August 8
Vendors Wanted!
Do you have handcrafted items to sell? Are you an artist searching for customers? Do you create treasures out of items others would discard? Are you a gardener with summer harvest to share? Ready to part with your record collection? We want you for the Brecksville Flea @BUMC!
Vendor space is limited for this popular event and registration will close when all spaces are reserved and paid for or on July 31, whichever comes first. The church’s sign up form or visiting the church office are the only ways to register.
A recap of our second annual event!

Our second annual Brecksville Flea at BUMC was held August 9, 2025! On a beautiful, blue sky summer day, 27 vendors filled the church parking lot and fellowship hall with their wares – and the community came out to shop and enjoy the day together.
From vintage clothing, to household decor and furniture, to handcrafted jewelry and framed art and photography, there was something for everyone. Our popular “Nothing But Games and Puzzles” tent returned and did brisk sales. The Missions Team gave a hands on demonstration on how to weave sleeping mats out of disposable shopping bags. Our church information table expanded to include bakery and cookbook sales. And the Volunteers in Mission Team served delicious pulled pork sandwiches to satisfy hungry shoppers.
The church “garage sale” portion of the sale expanded, accepting donated items in a longer window, which meant a lot more inventory to share. Even after doing $1395 in sales, we still had 7,459 pounds of items to donate to Volunteers for America after the Flea closed.
All proceeds will help Brecksville UMC continue to be a place where the community can gather – for worship, weddings, funerals, classes, recovery group meetings, pre-school, recitals, exercise classes, music lessons, scouts and more. We are all about creating safe spaces to grow with God and one another!
Our 27 vendors included several returning from our 2024 event along with some new faces. Their registration fees, combined with items sold by Brecksville UMC brought in $3,642 to help offset our budget deficit. That’s $1500 more than last year!
