Thursday, March 6, 2025: Determined Women a presentation by Rev. Peg Welch, will discuss the beginning of women’s missions. Brave, assertive women wanted to provide maternity hospitals, girls’ schools and colleges, and teacher training. They raised money and fought for the right to decide its use. We can learn a lot from our spiritual ancestors. Pastor Peg’s presentations never disappoint. You won’t want to miss this one!

The Brecksville United Women in Faith meet on the first Thursday of the month during the school year. Join them at 9:30 for refreshments and a program that starts at 10 am. All are welcome!

Peg Welch retired from active ministry in 2019, having served Conneaut First, Boardman, and Ontario UMCs during 23 years of ministry. Highlights of her ministry include seeing people awaken to Scripture, the privilege of cooperating with God’s grace daily in human lives, and the creation of a ministry of grandparents raising grandchildren. She is Pastor Heidi’s mother-in-love and we are always blessed when she visits Brecksville UMC!
