Do you support access to healthcare?
Pastor Heidi is urging us to get off our donkeys. We are leaning into our social principles as United Methodists, which include expanding access to healthcare.
Here’s an opportunity!
The Greater Cleveland Congregations, a non-partisan coalition of faith communities in Cuyahoga County, is unveiling their Healthy Blocks Initiative. They are working with the City of Cleveland and MetroHealth to open health clinics in underserved neighborhoods and provide aging in place housing.
To show support for this effort, we have been invited to join them on Tuesday, May 13 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Lee Road Baptist Church, 3970 Lee Road, Cleveland, where we will have an opportunity to learn more about this initiative.
To reserve your space, obtain more information, or participate in a carpool, call Jim Slagle or call the church office 440-526-8938.
