For some the joy of the Christmas season is muted by grief and lossāsometimes fresh and sometimes enduring. On December 21, the longest night of the year, we gather together for a comforting worship service which acknowledges both the depths of grief and the wide-reaching love of God. Whatever ending or begining you are facing, this worship service is for you.
Join us in the Sanctuary at 7 pm or online anytime.
Even in our endings,
fill us with hope for new beginnings.
Even as our minds race with anxiety,
fill us with peace that surpasses understanding.
Even in our deepest grief,
fill us with joy and laughter.
Even in a world of hate and fear,
fill us with your love, O God.
Come, let us worship Emmanuel, God with us.
Join us in the Sanctuary of Brecksville United Methodist Church (the big brick church on Brecksville Square) or online here on Facebook Live.
Brecksville United Methodist Church is all about creating safe space to grow with God and one another. All are welcome, all the time!
