A Joyful Gathering – Names to Faces Event

We put names to the faces we see each Sunday at church with this fun and casual event.

Our second annual Names to Faces Event was a hit. And this year, Michael Gezze gave each of his conversation partners a gift – a sketch he drew while they talked!

At Names To Faces, we ask each other conversation starting questions, “speed dating” style. We have tables and chairs set up around the room, with two people seated across from each other. A timer is set and we spend a few minutes asking each other interesting questions (from a list or from your imagination.) When the timer rings, one side of the table moves to the next seat and the person seated gets a new conversation partner.

What kinds of questions? Simple conversation starters, like…

• What’s a skill you’d love to master?
• What’s your favorite way to spend time with family?
• What’s your favorite thing about your hometown?
• What’s your favorite way to exercise?
• What’s your favorite mode of transportation?
