Those aluminum pull tabs from soda and canned foods may not seem like much, but in 2023, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio collected 22,550 pounds of them – and converted them into more than $10,000 to help provide families with temporary housing to be near their children receiving medical care. Because of donations like these, families are able to stay for FREE!

Keep (or start!) saving your tabs and bring them to the donation station on the first floor of Brecksville United Methodist Church. Al & Barb Harper are delivering our tabs to Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland every time the box gets full! It takes 1,000 pull tabs to make 1 pound of aluminum, but those tabs add up quickly and they help ensure that families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Cleveland enjoy special moments of normalcy and joy – like birthday gifts, trips to the hair salon, and anniversary dinners.
