Quilters – both experienced and aspiring – are called to bring comfort to others with a January 2025 project. Creating prayer quilts for those in need.

What is more comforting than a pretty quilt to snuggle up with on a chilly evening? In keeping with our Advent quilt theme, fabric and patterns have been collected to create warm quilts for those in need. Whether you are an experienced quilter/sewist or are wanting to try something new, there is a pattern for you. If you haven’t used a sewing machine since middle school, we will help you through each step to create a beautiful quilt block.

Room 303 is our bright and spacious workroom. Sewing hours 10 am through 2 pm are scheduled every Saturday in January 2025. Drop in as you are able!

If you have a group of scouts or students who would like to join the fun, please reach out to schedule an after school sewing session. We look forward to creating comforting quilts together. – submitted by Liz Fredrick
