You are invited to be part of the the incredible work of loving and serving our neighbors in South Akron and Summit Lake! At South Street Ministries, transformation happens through relationships, and volunteers are at the heart of that mission.

Whether it’s mentoring youth at Open Gym, preparing meals for our Reentry meetings, helping in the Bike Shop, or supporting community events, there are countless ways to get involved and make a lasting impact.

We are organizing teams from our church to help with community meals.

The time commitment is from 3:30 – 6 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. It is a very well organized ministry and one that is a joy to be a part of. Upcoming dates include:
