Small Groups

Seeing our friends at church on Sunday morning is great. But we may rush into worship with just a hug or a handshake before rushing out to attend to the plans of the day. Many of us are looking for a space for deeper connection. We’re looking for opportunities for learning, encouragement, support, and acceptance — safe spaces to grow with God and one another. Small groups can do this!

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

We’re kicking off small groups this fall with a Leadership Training Group in October.  Our goal is to cultivate groups where we can dive deep into mature discipleship together, and know and care for one another with vulnerability, commitment, and openness.  Both Leadership Training and Group Formation will be ongoing.

What are small groups?

Small groups are authentic community, spaces where we can hold one another accountable, support one another and love one another. Small groups meet regularly to foster spiritual growth, accountability, and mutual support within our church community. These groups, rooted in John Wesley’s teachings, aim to help us grow in holiness, live out our faith, and participate in God’s mission.  Pastor Heidi and Shannon explain more in this video:

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:24-25

We will be training small group leaders begining October of 2025 and launching small groups at our church in January of 2026. Click the link below to get in touch with us and learn more.
