The Daily Examen: Practicing Gratitude, Noticing God

Daily Examen

September 14 – October 19 at 9:30 in the Parlor: In a noisy, fast-moving world, the ancient practice of the Daily Examen offers a way to pause, reflect, and become aware of God’s presence in everyday life. In this class, we’ll explore the origins of the Examen, learn its simple yet powerful steps, and discover how it can deepen our daily gratitude and attentiveness to the Spirit’s movement by practicing gratitude and noticing God.

More than just a study, this will be a practice—one we’ll live out together over the course of the class. Each day, you’ll be invited to pause and prayerfully reflect, noticing moments of joy, challenge, and God’s quiet nudges. When we gather on Sundays, we’ll share our experiences, encourage one another, and grow in our awareness of the sacred woven into our ordinary days.
