Transforming Church Culture

Monday, March 31 is Transgender Day of Visibility. This day is set aside to acknowledge the determination it takes to live openly and authentically as a transgender or non-binary person. To celebrate, we are hosting a program called TRANSforming Church Culture: Becoming Trans Inclusive. This study will cover basic truths about transgender people, invite us to engage in reflection and discussion guided by Biblical scripture, and better equip us to support transgender folks in our community. Join us at 7 pm as we learn together!

We are grateful for this resource that was created in part by Reconciling Ministries Network, affirming that there is a safe space within The United Methodist Church! Everyone is welcome to attend. Please click the button below to sign up.

Brecksville United Methodist Church is all about creating safe spaces for everyone to grow with God and one another. We actively strive to be an inclusive church. We intentionally make space for everyone to encounter a loving God. No matter your age, gender, race, income level, sexual orientation, or ability. No matter if you’re an atheist, someone struggling with faith, you live with constant faith in your heart, or you’re somewhere in between. You are welcome here and you are invited to participate in the life of our church!
