Featured Opportunity: Facility Manager
We are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the care, safety, and stewardship of our church properties. This role serves as the primary coordinator for our physical spaces, ensuring our building and grounds remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all who gather here.
Role Highlights:
- Compensation: $25 per hour.
- Schedule & Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week. Requires flexibility to adapt to seasonal needs and occasional off-hour facility emergencies.
- The Focus: Supervising custodial staff, leading volunteer teams (including our Church Property Care Team), managing vendor relationships, and maintaining building systems to support our shared ministry.
Who You Are:
- A Skilled Caretaker & Project Manager: Experienced in property management, maintenance, or construction, with working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair.
- A Leader with a “Steward’s Eye”: Proactive in spotting needs before they become emergencies, with a passion for recruiting and equipping volunteers to care for our physical home.
- A Collaborative Problem-Solver: Organized, dependable, and comfortable evaluating contractor estimates, navigating budgets, and keeping projects moving smoothly.
- Committed to Inclusion: Dedicated to creating welcoming, accessible, and inclusive spaces for our entire church family and community.
