A Cleveland native, Machala is a vocalist, music director, and teacher who received her bachelor’s degree in Music from Cleveland State University. She has performed in many different environments and genres of vocal work, but her focus has been in classical/opera and contemporary sacred music. Machala is a full time music teacher and choir director. She and her husband, John, live in Northeast Ohio.
