2026 Leadership Board

We are in our third year under the Simplified Accountability Structure (SAS) of church governance. The board primarily focuses on setting the overall vision and direction of the church, making strategic decisions, and establishing goals. While making decisions, the board remains accountable to the wider church membership. Board members serve for three year terms.

Leadership Board Meetings

The Board meets monthly, typically on the second Thursday at 7:30 pm. Check the church calendar for the next meeting date. Except for any business involving personnel matters, the meetings are open and you are welcome to attend. A recording secretary keeps meeting minutes which are available by request.

Leadership Board Covenant

The Leadership Board Covenant outlines the responsibilities, expectations, and guiding principles for leaders within our board. It’s a document that fosters healthy collaboration, sets clear expectations, and helps leaders stay focused on the church’s mission.

Guiding Principles

Guiding principles for a Simplified and Accountable Structure (SAS) Leadership Board focus on strategic decision-making, accountability, and aligning resources with the church’s mission, vision, and goals. They emphasize a shift from managing day-to-day operations to focusing on governance, stewardship, and fostering a culture of impactful ministry.
